Capturing weddings with film
My very beautiful friend, the very beautiful bride
Dragons
The 5th and only mystical animal of the Chinese Zodiac. Revered by many Asians as the best. You find them at temples, as a statue, even as a plushie or a playground!
Yet in Western cultures, dragons are scary creatures to be slayed.
What dragons mean to you depends on your roots and your angle of perception, amongst others. So goes for many other things.
If you ever having clashing opinions with another, take a step back and walk a mile in his shoes. We can avoid a World War that way ;)

You knew him as Dad
You remember being in his arms, after falling asleep on the couch when you were much younger, as he carries you to your room
You remember him as a quiet figure
For as times got harder, all he knew was he had to bring the bread home and put food on the table
As an Asian male, he was brought up to believe that he should be tough
“Real men dont cry”, a saying that sums it all up
He was a stranger to being expressive
Instead of communicating his unhappines, he knew to only lose his temper when he gets irritated
You had little memories with him
You see him as Dad
You fail to consider that he was once a young boy, once a teenager who probably went through much of what you did
You fail to consider that he did grow older, and is growing old
You grow up, get educated and influenced by the ways of the West
All while the hair of Dad is turning grey
You wanted to give your parents a treat, after you carved a career
Dad was awkward, he was not used to the finer food in life
While you were away from your nested home, pursuing your dreams
Dad at home, earning money through menial work, from 9-9
All as the world advances
Society soon dictates that he is too old to work
With all his children’s wings fully grown,
what is he to do at home?
“Wander around”, in his own words
Then you, his child, asks him to look after your child
To look after his grandchild, stay home and relax, you say
When all he did before was entirely different
As a son or daughter, can we do better?
A maze to amaze
Photography is not just about the latest gear or the longest lens. It’s not just about photographic technique or workflow in your computer, but it is about sharing a bit of yourself with your images and your words.

Have been experiencing a bit of a drought photography-wise. Feeling extremely lost with regards to what I would like to share with the world, through my lens. As time passes, I am getting to know more like-minded individuals, with opportunities, networks, reputations and skills far beyond. Looking at their works, I guess sometimes I inevitably fall into that “wannabe trap”, and end up losing myself. Still figuring my way out of this maze. One day.
